Artificial Cryolite

PRODUCT DETAILS

 Molecular formula: Na3AIF6 also as 3NaF·AlF3

It is mainly used as the flux in the aluminium electrolyzing a flux in reducing the melting point of alumina during the electrolytic process of primary aluminium smelting with the following features:

1.      Adjustable molecular ratio. The low-molecular ratio cryolite (ratio: 1.3-1.8) can replace AIF3 partly or completely with high yield in the aluminium electrolyzing. The mid-molecular ratio cryolite (ratio 1.8-2.5) can increase the electrolyte level. The high-molecular ratio cryolite (ratio 2.5-3.0) quickly starts up aluminium electrolyzing bath and turn to normal operation.

2.      Lower cost. It can economies the power and reduce the cost in aluminum electrolyzing. It has a strong competitive ability.

3.      Good fluidity. Suitable for automatically feeding in the aluminium smelters and promoting the technology reformation and progress.

4.      High contents of F, Al, less contents of residues like SiO2、 Fe2O3 、SO42-、 P2O5.

5.      Low free-water and loss of ignition.
