Molecular formula: AlF3

AIF3, white powdery solid, mainly used to adjust the molecular ratio of electrolyte in aluminium electrolytic cell. In production of AlF3, we import BUSS company's mature, reliable and advanced dry process and develop it as follows: Sulfuric acid and fluoride react under high temperature, during which process gas shall be generated. Then the gas goes pass through the process for washing, freezing, deaerating and fractional distillation and finally enters evaporator. The high-purity HF (hydrogen fluoride) from evaporator shall enter fluidized bed where it will react with Al(OH)3(aluminium hydroxide) under high temperature to produce anhydrous -AIF3. Adoption this process, we can get high quality AlF3 with extreme low impurity, which is sure to be very helpful to reduce melting point, improve conductivity of electrolyte, reduce the environment pollution, enhance the production yield, and reduce the cost of electrolysis.
