Mould powder is used in continuous casting machine, it is very
continuous steel making and steel billet quality. There are many kinds of mould powder that we can supply based on different work conditions.
1, Ultra thin slab CCM mould powder
Ultra thin slab continuous casting can significantly shorten the steel belt production process. Comparing with slab production, it is more strict and harsh for working conditions. The mould powder also need to be chosen based on different steel grade.
1) For ultra low carbon steel
2) For low carbon steel
3) For plain carbon steel(low-alloy steel)
4) For medium and high carbon steel(low-alloy steel)
2, Slab CCM mould powder
Slab is used for producing plate steel. Comparing with billet production, slab production is easier to form surface crack, segregation, porosity and other defects. So the mould powder also need to be chosen based on different steel grade.
1) For ultra low carbon steel
2) For low carbon steel
3) For plain carbon steel(low-alloy steel)
4) For medium and high carbon steel(low-alloy steel)
5) For stainless steel
6) For rare earth steel
3, Billet CCM mould powder
Billet is used for producing long products, for example structural steel for machinery and equipment manufacturing. There are many types of billet caster with many differences in cross section and drawing speed. The mould powder also need to be chosen based on different steel grade.
1) For ultra low carbon steel
2) For low carbon steel
3) For plain carbon steel(low-alloy steel)
4) For medium and high carbon steel(low-alloy steel)
5) For stainless steel and special steel
4, Round billet & Beam Blank CCM mould powder
1) Round billet is used for producing steel pipe for example seamless steel pipe.It is easier to cause stress consentration and make the billet prone to depression and longitudinal crack.
2)And beam blank is used for produce blanks for example structural steel and heavy rail steel. It is easier to occur uneven heat transfer.
